[Schulze (Alfred Otto Wolfgang )], "Wols".- Sartre (Jean-Paul) Visages précédé de Portraits Officiels, one of 916 copies, 4 drypoint etchings by Wols, title in red and black, slight cracking at gutter, upper hinge broken, original printed wrappers, 8vo, Paris, 1948.
⁂ Wols (1913-1951), though broadly unrecognised in his lifetime, is now considered as a pioneer of lyrical abstraction and one of the most influential artists of the Tachisme movement.
