Scottish Dirk by W. Newlands, fullered saw back 12 inch blade, with leather scabbard fitted with matching knife and fork, basketwork studded carved grip, silver plated mounts embossed with thistles, the pommels set with cairngorm stones. Buyer must be over the age of 18. Age verification ID will be required. Dimensions: 48cm longCondition Report The dirk is in good general condition but shows some signs of age and wear. The stones all appear to be the same colour, there is some scratches and marks but no chips or cracks. The stone at the top is loose and will pull off the grip with ease. The mounts show some signs of wear from being polished. Some of the brass studs are missing. The leather has some scratches and wear but is generally good. There does not appear to be any provision for sprung clips on the bi-fork and knife but they do slide in and out a bit too easily. The blade has some dark marks but does not appear to be heavily pitted. Please register to request a condition report
