Early 19th century. 12-inch arched silvered brass dial, engraved and signed 'Thos. Currie / Edinburgh' in the arch. Roman hours, Arabic minutes, subsidiary seconds and calendar dials, blued steel hands. 8-day time and strike movement. Figured mahogany longcase with swan neck pediment, inlaid fan paterae and foliate fretwork, hood flanked by fluted columns with brass Corinthian capitals, shaped trunk door with line inlay between reeded quarter columns, on bracket feet.
