Scroll of Esther – 19th-Century Parchment
A large metal cylinder containing a scroll written on parchment, partially affixed to red fabric. The scroll’s handles are made of iv0ry. An additional section of the scroll is included separately.
Height of the scroll (including handles): 45 cm.
Height of the cylinder: 50 cm.
Condition: Good to fair. Parts of the scroll handle have broken off, but the pieces remain intact and can be easily reattached; there are minor stains, tears in the fabric, and general wear.
