Sculpture (1) - Earthenware - 19th century

Large sculpture depicting Our Lady of Sorrows in polychrome terracotta inside a blown glass bell. Dress made of fabric with brocade and trimmings in passementerie. Wooden core, embossed metal dagger. Large arch with coloured fabric flowers and wire structure (not contemporary) . Circular wooden base with ball feet. Excellent state of preservation and structural condition, natural patina of time (as per photos) . The only thing to note is that the lower base is slightly bowed, but still rests correctly. Italy, 19th century. Maximum size: Ø 38 cm x height 75 cm.
