The bats are hand-gilded in 23-carat gold leaf in a traditional manner. With pure gold quality from Norris Germany. The back has been left intact by the artist so that the beauty of the butterfly also remains visible on that side.
This dome comes from the collection: Taxidermy Artwork, designed and made by Robert Mars (Netherlands) . The dome is provided with the designer tag and certificate RMS55 with serial number 26/50.
Only 50 of this gold leaf bat artwork were made.
