Sculpture, Angel - 65 cm (1) - Oak - ca. 1800
Beautiful and unique wooden carving from oak. Period: probably late 18th or early 19th century. It was bought at an antique shop in Amsterdam and has been a family piece ever since for over 50 years. The angel figure sits on the original oak triangular shaped plate, which is designed to fit a 90 degrees wall corner. Two metal wall mounts can be used to hang it in place. Damages: there is a crack on the backside of the right wing and on the top right side of the right shoulder (needs restoration) . See pictures which are part of the description. Other than the natural aging of the wood due to it’s age, no visible damages or markings etc. International insured delivery via Post NL.
