Sculpture, Angel - 65 cm (1) - Oak - ca. 1800

Beautiful and unique wooden carving from oak. Period: probably late 18th or early 19th century. It was bought at an antique shop in Amsterdam and has been a family piece ever since for over 50 years. The angel figure sits on the original oak triangular shaped plate, which is designed to fit a 90 degrees wall corner. Two metal wall mounts can be used to hang it in place. Damages: there is a crack on the backside of the right wing and on the top right side of the right shoulder (needs restoration) . See pictures which are part of the description.
