Sculpture, Cocker Spaniel dog (1) - Bronze - Second half 20th century

A wonderful and rare bronze sculpture from an inheritance and dating back to the second half of the 20th century. Excellent workmanship and chiselling; it was handmade and probably inspired by an English model. I can't find the signature, which may be hidden. Normal signs of use and ageing, with the original patina; in more than good condition. A unique, very scenographic and eye-catching sculpture that will stand out anywhere, a valuable and prestigious piece. It depicts a posing Cocker Spaniel. The figure is undoubtedly exceptional, but the finishing touches should not be underestimated, and particular attention should be paid to the engravings, which are made with great professionalism. Certainly a rare sculpture. Since I am not an expert, all the information was obtained from an antique dealer.
