A bronze reproduction of Etruscan god Laran in attack pose, holding a sword in his right hand and a large shield in his left with the effigy of the goddess Metus. A richly decorated pedestal completes the sculpture. The bronze reproduction dates back to the 1850-1900 period. Time has covered this unique piece of immense beauty with a wonderful natural patina with green, red and blue shades. The sword got detached over time but has been repaired by inserting a screw pin so it can be pulled out at any time.
