Statue - Wood - Lacquer - Tall Buddha - Japan - 17th / 18th century Very good condition- 52×20×21 cm Height approximately 24cm (Buddha) 52 cm (entire work) . Depth approximately 20 cm. Length approximately 21 cm. Statue incredibly in almost perfect condition. All original paints and gilt. Feet and hands still in intact original condition. Beautiful, original, time honed, ancient patina. Chips and loss to gilt and lacquer throughout the statue as seen in photos. Top of Buddha headgear possibly subject to minor loss.
