Ancient sculpture from the early 1900s made in Neapolitan foundries with the lost wax system.
The spinaro, a figure of a boy removing a thorn from his foot, was found after 1400 in the excavations of ancient Rome and placed in the Capitoline museums and repeated by Neapolitan artists as early as the 19th century.
The height is 21 cm for a weight of 2. 7 kg . . .
