Exceptional sculpture depicting the Madonna assumed into heaven.
The sculpture is undoubtedly from the Neapolitan 1700s.
Hands and feet are in ancient terracotta with some defects due to its 250/300 years ! ! !
The sculpture certainly comes from a famous artistic workshop in the city of Naples and was created by a master craftsman.
The details of the face and eyes are wonderful.
The fabrics of the clothes are contemporary and authentic.
The patina of time is immediately visible and the sculpture requires restoration by expert hands.
And so beautiful too.
