A beautiful life-size sculpture of a human skull or "memento mori" in "Rosso Antico" marble, a deep red marble with occasional thin greyish-black veins and white markings, favored by the ancient Greeks, Romans and Etruscans for their sculptures and quarried above the village of Agios Kyprianos on the east coast of Cape Tenaro (Cape Matapan) in Greece.
