Magnificent pedestal made of ebonized wood around 1930. It represents a kind of putto, a winged angel but with the peculiarity that half of its body ends in a snake's tail, as if it were a small devil. Putti are especially abundant in the Italian and Spanish Renaissance and Baroque, and are part of the recovery of classical motifs typical of the period. This revival also appears at the beginning of the 20th century in Castilian furniture, known as the Renaissance Style. This corbel has been made in an exquisite technique, the protagonist of the composition has been treated almost as if it were a round lump. Also striking are the seed beads and the different ornaments that complete the composition.
