Ancient bronze sculpture of a boy on a rock, a young fisherman (the rod is missing) , from the late 19th to early 20th century, made in Neapolitan foundries with the lost wax system. It has no sculptor's marks or signature. The light veined marble base was reinserted in recent decades. The bronze sculpture was made in two parts, the lower part (the rock) and joined to the upper part (the fisherman) via an internal central pin.
The weight of the entire work is over 6 kg.
The height is approximately 40 cm.
In good condition, as in the photo, small defects between the two pieces due to wear and age.
