Saint with a book, carved from wood and painted. Hollowed back. Painting partly redone and restored. The gold-plating seems to still be the original in parts. Left hand is missing. The crown was probably reworked. Northern Italy 16th century. If picked up by a forwarding agent, I will pack the sculpture well.
