ULYSSES. 68 cm high bronze sculpture from the late 20th century. Ulysses, or Odysseus, is a character of Greek mythology. He was a native of Ithaca, called the land of the sun, and is one of the Achaean heroes described and narrated by Homer in the Iliad and in the Odyssey, the literary work that has him as its protagonist and which takes its name from him. The original is at the museum of Sperlonga.
