These remarkable figures would have the magical power to prevent the death of a twin. If the twins still die this fetish figure is taken out of the fetish hut and given to the mother to protect her and avoid that the following children will also die. The total height of this figure is 50. 5 cm. It is carved in rather hard wood. The faces are refined in contrast with the relatively rudimentary body. The scarification is intensified in the face with white kaolin. The figurine is in good condition, with a few desiccation cracks (have a look at the pictures) . Comes without stand.
