Scuola Fiamminga (XVII) - La Buona Ventura

[ translate ]

Ancient painting, oil on canvas, dating back to the last part of the 17th century, depicting La Buona Ventura.

This beautiful canvas, of which passages and passages of excellent quality are highlighted, appears to be attributable to an artist of the Flemish school active during the second half of the seventeenth century, with stylistic results that appear derived from the models of artists such as Theodoor Rombouts (Antwerp 1597-1637) .
The work appears to have traces of a monogram at the bottom right, which unfortunately is difficult to read and difficult to decipher.

In fairly good general condition considering the age of the painting, which appears in patina and with light accumulations of dirt in some places on the canvas. Scattered restoration points can be seen as well as some slight unraveling of the pictorial surface. There are no conservation problems highlighted. The original canvas has an old relining which does not appear to require intervention. A fine crackle is visible in relation to the era. The frame appears to have been replaced at the time of the relining.

Framed in a beautiful, fairly recent frame, which has slight defects and restorations.

Measurements of the painting: 41 x 52 cm. Frame measurements: 56 x 68 cm.

Work accompanied by a certificate of photographic authenticity, as per current legislation.

Shipping via insured express courier and packaging carried out with the utmost care.
