Scuola Lombarda - I quattro santi
\Artist: Scuola Lombarda
Technique: Oil on canvas\Signature: Not signed\Dimensions: 101_6_66_cm
I quattro santi, oil on canvas. XVII century. The painting depicts four saints, for example the one sitting in the foreground, a semi-naked elderly man with a stone in his hand, is in all likelihood St Jerome . In the center two bearded men with the pastoral book stand out; the one further to the left could be St. Anthony Abbot due to what he is wearing, while the one in the center does not express any attribute that helps us recognise him. Behind them, a young Roman soldier on horseback clutches a red banner, again in this case the identification of the saint is arduous one, since many are the names associated with the subject depicted. Size: H 101 x 66 cm. Authenticity certified. Shipping across Europe. Please, do not hesitate to contact us. Bisiantichita
