\Artist: Scuola XVII secolo
Technique: Oil on canvas\Signature: Not signed\Dimensions: 122_6_147_cm
Oil on canvas. The scene takes place inside a palace of imposing architecture punctuated in the background by columns, pillars, arches, and niches; a long laid table dominated the composition, to which are seated numerous men, definitely belonging to noble houses given the richness of the clothes. At the head of the table on the right there is probably the homeowner, highlighted by the majestic canopy that towers over him and by the interest shown by almost all guests. At the left end is an elderly prelate who converses with two other patrons, some waiters bring trays with abundant food, while a child is exploring under the tablecloth, a group of putti observes the party sitting on the high base of a pillar. The painting is accompanied by a 19th-century wooden frame. Size: L 110 x 78 cm canvas / with frame: 147 x 122 cm. Authenticity certified. Shipping across Europe.
