Beautiful large oil painting on canvas depicting the Veneto landscape with figures in the manner of Zais, Zuccarelli, Marco Ricci, etc. with beautiful carved and gilded frame. The preparation of the canvas is still in eighteenth-century style, the canvas was covered with a couple of coats of Bologna plaster and then sanded to make the pictorial surface as smooth as possible. The painting can be dated to the mid-nineteenth century but the eighteenth-century influence is clear. The measurements are important, without frame: 118x88. With frame cm. 148 x 120. General conditions are excellent. Pick-up by hand is preferred.
