Ancient painting, from the 19th century, oil on wooden panel, depicting Saint Peter.

Excellent quality painting which does not appear signed and which can be traced back to an artist working in Italy towards the second part of the 19th century.

Framed in a beautiful gilded frame, which has light defects and restorations.

In fairly good overall condition considering the age of the painting, which has a patina. There are some small scattered restoration points, as well as some light unraveling and cracking of the pictorial surface, but nothing particularly significant. There are no conservation problems highlighted. The wooden panel does not show any structural defects and does not appear to require conservative interventions. A fine crackle is visible in relation to the era.
