The painting contains, placed on a burgundy velvet base, an oil painting on copper.

A Madonna with Child is represented with a rich and composite scene, well defined in the anatomies of the subjects, in the fabrics and in the light coming from the top right.
The quality of the painting is high in every detail.

The thick gilded wooden frame is of good quality and particularly rich in details and relief decorations.

The back contains an expertise from a Ligurian antiquarian in which it is specified that the author is from the Piedmont area of the 17th century, in the pictorial circle of the Laninos. 19th century frame. See photo.

State of conservation: very good; presence of punctiform stains and minimal deterioration on the metal surface (see photo) .
The frame has a missing corner decoration (top right) , small restorations in the visible part and some color loss in the non-visible part (see photo) .
