Portrait of a Piedmontese nobleman with letter in his hand. Early 18th century. The date, difficult to read, is transcribed on the bottom right of the table: "17? 7" On the letter it is written in French "Monsieur . . . Procoyeur du Roi. Turin". The character wears the long wig of the Louis XIV period. Of note are the precious details of the fashion of the time: the very light lace on the cuffs, the blue dress with buttonholes embroidered in gold, button-jewels. With old restorations.
