Scythian Necklace with Animal Head Pendants

6th century BC-3rd century AD. A restrung necklace of coiled bronze fusiform beads with interstitial glass spherical beads and beast-head dangles, domed bronze disc finials each with a loop to the reverse. 240 grams, 46cm (18 1/4"). Property of a European businessman; from his private Belgian collection formed in the 1990s; previously in a North American collection formed in Illinois in the 1980s. [No Reserve]
