Design for a Renaissance Doorway, from Extraordinario libro di architettura di Sebastiano Serlio, published in Venice in 1568 by Appresso Giouambattista, Marcho Sessa & fratelli. Unsigned, identified in a photocopy of the book's title page and on a label from Giovanni Baccani Galleria Artistica Fiorentina, both affixed to the frame backing paper. Hand-colored etching on paper, plate size 11 3/8 x 7 5/8 in. (29.0 x 19.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Pale foxing, staining, rippling, not examined out of frame.
