Secrétaire à abattant - Mahogany, Oak - 1820

Sleek mahogany secretaire model, very nice flower mahogany veneered with solid brass entrees. 6 drawers in the interior with ivory knobs and 1 blind drawer in the hood. Locks and keys original and working. Lock signed with 'GS' (see photos) . The flap is inlaid with "olive green" calf leather. Dutch, circa 1820. Dimensions: H= 155 cm. W= 96 - 104 cm. D= 44 - 47 cm. Recently thoroughly checked for loose parts of the construction and veneer. Woodworm inspection: No active woodworm found. The photos are part of the description. The last three photos show how it will be packed for foreign transport. Euro pallet with stretch foil and sturdy thick cardboard or plastic runner with at least two lashing straps.
