Segula for Protection: First Edition Ohr HaGanuz

Sefer of Torah novellae divided into two parts authored by Rabbi Yehuda Leib HaCohen of Anipoli.
Part One – Ohr HaGanuz : Explanations on Torah by way of parde"s.
Part Two – VeZos LiYehuda: Explanations on the Mishnah by way of remez.

Segula for Protection:
In Rabbi Mordechai of Chernobyl's endorsement to this sefer he writes: "Every man should purchase this holy sefer for himself as a merit for complete protection for him and his children for their generations."
His son Rabbi Avraham, the Trisker Maggid, remarked as well: “I have faith in the words of my father, the Admor… that these holy sefarim will serve as a protection for all those who purchase them, for him and his children for all generations.”
Rabbi Mordechai’s other sons, Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl and Rabbi David – the Tolner Maggid, expressed similar sentiments and blessings as well.

A rare endorsement from the Tzemach Tzedek of Lubavitch is included at the beginning of the sefer. This is the only known endorsement given by the Tzemach Tzedek. There are additional endorsements as well from Rabbi Chaim of Sanz and the Chidushei Harim.
This first edition was published in Lemberg, 1866, and includes a rare Yellow cover not available in most copies. separate title page for part two. page.

Stefansky, Chassidus No. 21

Rabbi Yehuda Leib HaCohen of Anipoli was one of the great followers of the Maggid of Mezritch and served as his baal tefillah. He was one of the only two people from whom the Baal HaTanya requested an endorsement for his sefer HaTanya.
