Seguso - Vase - Beaten - 23.5 cm - Glass

[ translate ]

Rare blown vase signed Seguso, manufactured in the nineties, in semi-opaque taupe glass.

The beating (cold grinding) covers the entire surface of the work in a regular manner, creating the characteristic "bees' nest" effect. The only area of the vase that has not been worked using this technique is the base, completely in transparent glass, from which you can have a special 360° view that shows the astonishing intrinsic geometry of the object.

A museum vase that recalls the entire tradition of glass making, the skill of blowing and the intervention of the expert hands of the master glassmaker.

23. 5cm x 14cm x 14cm
