It was produced in Japan in the 1970s. Seiko is known for the durability and quality of many of its watches. The point that makes the watch special is that it is the first "automatic" watch to go into space and work in that environment. As you know, all of the watches given to astronauts going on other space missions had to be winded since it was thought that an automatic watch could not work in space. On the other hand, even if it had not been on this mission, I think that this watch is still a popular model with its really great design. This model, which was produced for the first time in 1969, was American in 1973. He received the nickname "Pogue" among watch lovers after he used it in the space mission (54 Days Skylab Mission) by Colonel William R. Pogue, who was in charge of the Air Force. \r
