Selenite Chubasco Fissure, Naica, Mun. de Saucillo, Chihuahua, Mexico Found during an exploratory drive designed to find more ore, the Chubasco Fissure quickly became a hot zone for these transparent Mexican Selenite specimens. A number of fine, water-clear crystals, some doubly terminated, like this one, came out. No ore was found, so any further production is going to be limited by what an occasional miner may get out with hand tools: not an encouraging prospect. Yes, mi gringo amigo: the dynamite, the slushers, the LHD's are all gone now, and only I, a poor miñero, am your friend ... let me show you something. There is a custom labeled acrylic base.
