Serge LASSUS (born in 1933) Painter of Basque and Béarnaise origin, he attended the Paris School of Applied Arts. In 1955, he was chosen to illustrate the golden book of the city of Paris. He already creates gouaches and canvases in his spare time, the Basque Coast inspires him. He lived in his property in Bordeaux until 1995 then left to live in Spain, in the sun. He now lives in Le Cannet. Having devoted his entire life to painting, he has exhibited throughout France and numerous times abroad: Tokyo, New York, Osaka, Los Angeles, Kobe, Art Expo NY, Nagoya, Madrid, Tias in Tokyo, Alicante, Oslo, Stuttgart.
