Sergio Costantini, 48 cm - Vase - Large colored filigree vase - Murano's glass

Murano glass vase handmade by one of the best glass masters on the island, Sergio Costantini. His fame is so well known that some of his works are exhibited in museums and galleries around the world.

Wonderful blown glass vase with filigree canes.

Processing technique:
A composition of white filigree canes is prepared. Then using a mass of hot glass, the decoration is collected with a rotating gesture and fused together. Then take other colored filigree rods and blend them randomly on the surface of the vase. Everything is then immersed in other transparent glass creating a submerged effect. From here on the master imprints his experience inside the object by blowing and modeling the vitreous mass by hand until its final shape is achieved.
The base is made with a crossed composition of colored filigree canes.
