The Italian designer is known for his lighting and plastic designs, and for his contribution to the lighting industry in Italy thanks to Artemide, the famous lighting company he co-founded in 1960. Mazza designed the company's first successful product, the Alfa lamp (1959) , in the following decades, he continued to collaborate with Artemide's ever-evolving collections, which include moulded fibreglass seats and other pieces of furniture over the years. From the '60s, produced for a short period of time and today highly sought after by collectors.
