Set 4 MISCO Graduated Glass Bell Jars

A set of four clear glass bell jars of graduated sizes, originally intended for scientific or laboratory use. Each vessel is constructed with a cylindrical body and a domed top surmounted by a solid glass knob handle, finished with a slightly flared base rim. One jar retains a partial yellow and black adhesive label near the base that reads CHIGAN SCIENTI..IC CO. / ?MISCO? / ANN ARBOR, MICH. The glass is clear and shows characteristics of industrial production. Three of the jars bear handwritten alphanumeric markings on the exterior surface in dark ink, including the characters 139 and PEH. Largest jar: 12.75 inches in height to top of handle Medium jar: 10.75 inches in height to top of handle Smallest jars: 10.5 inches in height to top of handle.
