A carabiniere breastplate made of sheet iron, trimmed with brass and fastened with brass rivets, featuring a radiating iron design and a brass eagle. Shoulder guards with chain links and brass clasps. Leather linings and straps (damaged). The breastplate and backplate marked “Manufacture royale de Klingenthal, July 1833.” Both are size 1, width 1, with different serial numbers. Includes a remnant of a damaged belt without the buckle.

Included are a modern-made cuirass vest and a simplified backplate modeled after those of the Imperial Guard cuirassiers, both in their current condition.
