A set of six Chippendale-style carved mahogany dining chairs, each with a serpentine crest rail centered by a carved shell and acanthus with scrolled ears above a pierced interlaced vasiform splat, the drop-in upholstered seat in gold and orange striped fabric over a gadrooned seat rail, raised on acanthus-carved cabriole front legs ending in ball-and-claw feet, on raked rear legs. Circa 1920s.
