Set of four Chelsea plates

A good set of four 18th century Chelsea plates, each polychrome painted with central exotic bird roundels, surrounded by floral sprays, with scalloped gilt rims, gold anchor marks, 23.5cm diameter

Condition Report

Gilt and enamel wear/scratching. One with two small rim chips. Two plates have a hairline on the rim with three staples. The last has a rim chip, crazing to the glaze and some minor staining. A couple of other tiny rim hairlines.
