Set of two large fantastic, very well carved exceptional kamakurabori braziers (hibachi) . All over decorated with kiku chrysantheum flowers and leaves. Lacquered in red, orange, yellow, green, brown and beige. Kamakura-bori (鎌倉彫) is a form of lacquerware from Kamakura, Japan. It is made by carving patterns in wood, then lacquering it with layers of color. It is then polished. (wikipedia) . In very nice original condition with beautiful patina. Diameter 44 cm each! Weight 10 kg each! Will be shipped with certificate of authenticity.
