7 color engraved maps with very narrow margins, edged in gilt. Sheets measuring 31.5x44 cm (12¼x17¼"), each sheet mounted on wood and cut to form a jigsaw map; housed in original 2 part box covered with blue paper, gilt trim, with Atlas stamped in gilt on cover. Maps separated in box by thin board dividers

Phillips does not list an atlas of Delamarche for this late date nor an atlas for Grosselin - Delamarche. Given the plate numbers, it was a big atlas.
