Sevres Porcelain & Bronze Urn

DESCRIPTION: Sevres porcelain urn featuring gilt bronze embellishments, a hand-painted image of a woman with putti framed with a gilt border, and a porcelain lid with a bronze acorn finial. Bronze embellishments include a base, two handles, a central piece at the bottom of the urn's bowl, and a lip, each with foliage designs. Porcelain segments are decorated with gilt floral, foliage, and curvilinear motifs and lattice patterns. Marked on underside with Sevres "Double-Louis" mark containing a letter "S".
