Sevres-Style Gilt Metal Mounted Vase & Cover

A Sèvres-style gilt-metal-mounted vase and cover, late 19th century,painted by B.Trehaut, signed, with oval panel of lovers in a landscape within a gilt band with raised foliate decoration against a cobalt blue ground; gilt with foliate scroll and trellis work, the domed cover with acanthus fruit gilt-metal finial. Inside of lid marked with blue "F" inside double "L". [26 1/2" H x 8 1/2" W x 6" W]. Wear to gilt.
