Exceptional sewing box (haribako) made of mulberry wood. Configured with 5 drawers in different sizes. One hinged top lid that opens up and shows a tray for variable small sewing necessities. At the upper right side a small opening in the shape of a fan, when you put your finger in the opening a secret compartment can be pushed aside! All original hardware, oval shaped handles with small chrysanthemum shaped knobs. Also very usable as jewelry box. In very nice original condition.
