Seymchan Meteorite End Cut Pallasite, PMG Magadanskaya Oblast, Russia - (62° 54'N, 152° 26'E) Found: June 1967 This relatively thin but extremely durable end cut of the famed Seymchan Meteorite is a bit like a thick slab but does have a natural exterior with nice texture and evidence of a clear coating. The polished face is wonderfully dramatic with an intense concentration of golden-brown Olivine crystals in contrast to its metal composition. This is an impactful Pallasite from a popular meteorite. The reflective display surface, coupled with the organic shape of the form, results in a very striking specimen. Found in 1967 in Russia, a quality piece of Seymchan, like this fine example, is always going to have significant value to collectors. As this offering weighs 1.1 kilograms (2.4 pounds), it is one sizable representation as well as quite aesthetic.
