Seymchan Meteorite "Monolith" Pallasite, PMG Magadanskaya Oblast, Russia - (62° 54'N, 152° 26'E) Found: June 1967 This section of Seymchan meteorite is simply massive weighing 7.9 pounds (3.6 kilograms) and is also a spectacular piece of meteoric art. Measuring a substantial 11 inches (28 cm) in length, this metallic bar shows off a pronounced Widmanstätten pattern etched on its primary display face. The monolith from space features a geometric "wrap" of the finished surface onto the sides and shows a rustic and natural backside revealing the dense and complex core of the famed meteorite from Russia found in June 1967.
