Seymchan Meteorite Slice Pallasite, PMG Magadanskaya Oblast, Russia - (62° 54'N, 152° 26'E) Found: June 1967 This extremely thick slab of Seymchan Meteorite from Russia boasts a shiny, silvery metallic base with a prominent Widmanstätten patterning supported by numerous patches of golden-brown Olivine crystals consistent with its Pallasite classification. The wedge-like slice is a little rustic, but the solid nature really makes this a superlative example confirmed by its sizable weight of 437.3 grams. The shape and form of this specimen is very dynamic with a flame-like aspect that further intensifies the crystallization, vibrant color and inherent contrast of this quality piece.
