Seymchan Meteorite Slice Pallasite, PMG Magadanskaya oblast', Russia - (62° 54'N, 152° 26'E) Found: June 1967 This beautiful slice of Seymchan Meteorite, from the fall in Russia in 1967, contains a superb and coated primary display face which has captured not only the artistic Widmanstätten pattern but the Pallasite to Siderite transition phase as the glorious slab exhibits separate areas of metallic meteorite and crystals of colorful Olivine. Weighing just over one kilogram (2.2 pounds), this relatively solid and thick offering has a broad and sizable surface area. Measuring well over 8 inches (20 cm) at maximum diameter, this piece makes a statement. The natural, organic shape with dynamic appearance results in a fine meteorite slab.
