Shelby - Daytona Coupe FFR 408CI V8 - NO RESERVE - 1965

Don't miss this opportunity and become the new owner of this unique and rare Shelby Daytona FFR Coupé! This is a NO RESERVE PRICE AUCTION. The Shelby Daytona Coupe was originally built for motor sport, in particular to compete with Ferrari and the 250 GTO in the GT class. Only six Shelby Daytona Coupés were built between 1964 and 1965. With the Shelby Daytona, Shelby became the first American car manufacturer to win the Le Mans 24 Hours race from their great rival Ferrari. The Shelby Daytona has recently been chosen for preservation as an important vehicle in the history of motor sport. Because a real Shelby Daytona has a price tag of between 10 and 15 million euros, Factory Five Racing has been providing identical kits as of the year 2000. These so-called Shelby Daytona tribute cars are made to the highest standards and with better specifications than the original 1965 Shelby. The car is 'titled' as year of manufacture 1965 and can therefore be registered as a 1965 vehicle. Absolutely no expense has been spared in building this Shelby Daytona Coupé. The car is equipped with all high-end components. It is a true racing monster with the 408CI V8 engine that provides more than 650HP. You will not find another Daytona like this. The 408CI SVO engine is equipped with AFR heads. The Daytona is furthermore fitted with TKO 600 transmission, Quartermaster dual disc clutch, 9" Tru Trac, ‘3 link’ rear suspension. Wilwood brakes. Penske shock absorbers, C&R radiator oil cooler, Forgline ‘forged alloy’ wheels, stainless steel exhaust manifold and exhaust system, ‘fuel safe’ custom fuel tank. And a many more high-end parts. The car has driven only 1175 miles, so the car is still like new. A Shelby Daytona FFR like this is never offered. So don't wait too long!
