Contemporary street artist born in 1976 in Lima, Peru.
Since his childhood, he has been doodling, drawing and painting surrounded by his father, an artist and designer immersed in an artistic and creative context.
At the age of 10, he obtained an art diploma at the George Washington School in Lima.
For political reasons, his entire family initially went into exile in Los Angeles and then settled permanently in Lausanne in Switzerland in
1989.
He then launched into graffiti after having taken a visual hit during numerous train trips in our country. A few encounters on the local scene allowed him to take his first steps as a graffiti artist.
For several years, Shem has dedicated himself and focused on canvases, developing his constantly evolving artistic research with a refined style.
His art asserts itself with age, it becomes expressive and colorful, multiplying experiences such as acrylic, watercolor, oil, pastel and Indian ink to obtain harmonious colors and textures. Note that his creations are all handmade and that he enjoys transmitting and sharing his know-how to other artists.
Through hard work, he now exhibits in recognized galleries in Paris, Brussels, Ibiza, England, Norway and New York.
